Investor Relations & Fund Raise Associate (Rosebank)

My client is a fast-growing investment business specialising in renewable energy infrastructure and alternative investments.

As the business continues to expand its capital and investment platform, they are seeking to appoint a high-calibre Investor Relations & Fund Raise Associate to support and lead investor-facing activities throughout the Section 12B capital raising cycle.

The successful candidate will be the face of the fund to financial advisers, wealth managers, intermediaries and investors, taking a leading role in raising capital for the firm’s Section 12B investment fund. Accordingly, candidates with a proven track record in raising capital for Section 12B funds will receive strong preference.

Job Functions:

  • Support and lead investor-facing activities throughout the Section 12B capital raising cycle.
  • Drive capital raising initiatives and contribute towards achieving fundraising objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial advisers, wealth managers, tax practitioners, intermediaries and high-net-worth investors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective investors, guiding them through the investment process and delivering a first-class investor experience.
  • Prepare and deliver investor presentations, marketing material and client communications.
  • Coordinate investor onboarding, subscription documentation and related investor communications.
  • Maintain investor pipelines, CRM records and fundraising reports.
  • Work closely with senior management to support the continued growth of the investment platform.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Investments, Accounting or a related field.
  • Approximately 3–7 years’ client-facing experience within the financial services industry, with a proven track record in raising capital for Section 12B investment funds.
  • An established network of relationships amongst financial advisers, wealth managers and other investment intermediaries would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen together with exceptional organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • A self-starter who enjoys working within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
