Head of Human Capital – Wealth & Investment Management (Stellenbosch)

My client, a fast-paced Wealth and Investment firm with 55 talented investment professionals, is on the hunt for a young, dynamic and forward-thinking HR professional to join their team

The Head of Human Capital will play a pivotal role in managing the human resources functions within a fast-paced Wealth & Investment firm. The role requires a well-rounded HR professional with a strong background in organizational development, change management, performance management, and experience within the finance sector beneficial. The successful incumbent will lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, wellbeing, training and development, and foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business vision and strategy.
• Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
• Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, development, and retention.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify talent needs and workforce planning.
• Manage and mentor the HR team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
• Drive initiatives to improve employee well-being and work-life balance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Qualifications/Certifications in Investment or Finance beneficial.
• 4 – 8 years’ experience as HR professional, ideally within the investment or financial services industry.
• Proven expertise in organizational development, change management, performance management, and employee wellbeing.
• Experience in the finance industry, with knowledge of financial regulations and HR implications in this context.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
